Shipping Info

On hand items will be shipped out within 3 business days after payment is received. Pickup items will be shipped out 2-14 days after payment is received. Items that need to be ordered online unfortunately will take over a week to ship out as I need to wait for it to arrive first. For pre-order items, please check the item description for the release date. Any item ordered with a pre-order item will be shipped together with the pre-order item once it's released.

Longer handling times may be necessary during extremely popular collections or the holiday season. Please allow more time for items to ship out during these times. I try my best to get orders out as quickly as possible but I do do everything myself as well as work a full time job. :x

All items are shipped from Japan using Japan Post. For most locations, you can choose from Economy SAL shipping, Airmail shipping, EMS shipping, or surface mail. Packages will be picked up by JP post and handed off to your country's local postal provider for delivery. Shipping prices are estimated based on country and weight of the package.

Time in Transit

Economy SAL: approx. 2-5 weeks
Airmail: approx. 7-14 business days (RECOMMENDED)
EMS: approx. 3-5 business days
Surface Mail: 1-4 months

Please note that these are estimates given by Japan Post. Time in transit can vary depending on customs and your country's postal service. While I try my best to ensure the package arrives quickly, I have no control over customs or postal delays. Most people receive their packages within the time estimates but some have received them up to 1-2 months afterwards. In this case, please contact your postal service. If you have not received your package after 1 month, please let me know. Refunds will only be issued if packages have been not been received after 2 months as it will then be deemed lost. 

Certain places such as South America, Central America, Mexico, etc may take longer. Please keep an eye on the tracking :)

Airmail (unregistered)

Packages shipped via unregistered Airmail do not have tracking numbers or insurance. For these packages, Japan Stuffs assumes no responsibility for lost packages. There will be no refunds issued or replacements given for any lost items. Please check with your mail provider if you have any issues or complaints. 

Registered Economy SAL, Registered Airmail, EMS

Packages shipped via Registered Economy SAL, Registered Airmail, and EMS will include both a tracking number and insurance. In the case of a lost item (items not received within 2 months are considered lost), please contact me.

Surface Mail

Due to COVID-19 and reduced air service, certain shipping options are not available for some countries. In some cases, surface mail may be the only option. Packages shipped via surface mail will take a while to arrive as these packages travel by boat. There is no tracking or insurance offered for this shipping method.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

All items will be shipped from Japan. With that being said, orders may be subject to import taxes, duties, and other fees. These extra charges are imposed by the recipient's country, not Japan Stuffs. Customers are responsible for checking their country's rules and custom's regulations before making any purchases.

Please note that sometimes tracking takes time to update and in rare situations, the tracking doesn't update for whatever reason. However, your package is still well on its way :)

For some countries, you can track your package using your country's postal system's webpage. Once the package lands in the destined country, sometimes this tracking is more accurate than Japan Post's. 

2022 Japan National Public Holidays

Below is a list of all national/bank holidays in Japan for 2022 + Christmas/New Year's Eve. Please note that these dates do not count as business days and no packages will be shipped on these days.
